Well I didn't buy an 01 or an 02 for a reason, and my car isn't affected by the road bearing recall. Go figure though. S54 M coupes with the same engine as the M3 were never affected. And while we're on this topic, lookie what I saw today. Aren't you jealous of how his fmic is so obvious

wow, at least my motor blew cause I slapped on two snails. I couldn't imagine blowing a stock motor with no mods. at least he has the warranty.

Well the early 01's are the only ones not blowing. Also, the M coupes are blowing at the SAME rate as the M3, they just sold SO FEW of those 'nike shoe look-a-likes' that there are only a few that have blown. Percentage wise, it's a wash. Remember, it's the same high strung engine with a 'detune' to compensate for the power/weight ratio.

Still, darn nice car though. What model year do you have Teddie?
