well, so far I am up around $16,000 roughly and I mean roughly. I have probably spent a bit more. Anyway, I am sure that I will not be doing this ever again until I become rich! But, I do have my car the way I wanted and I am pleased with it.

i love to see when marriages are based on trust!! another reason i would say not to get married, i dont want to have to hide stuff. especially when i make more money, when will us guys figure it out....

I am up to $44,077 in mods. That doesn't inlcude the loss I took on the vortech, the labor to install the vortech, or what it is going to cost me to have the car fixed. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't. I have enjoyed the car to death when it was running, but it seems that I just don't have the luck for this kinda chit. Also it is really hard to find a good shop to do the work on your car. Nobody will treat the car as you would treat your own car. If I could do it all over again, I would have bought a new Z06. Although the Z06 wasn't not available at the time I bought the G. Also, my wife and I are making considerably more $$$ now as compared to when I bought the G.

All in all, I wish I could rewind time and do it all over again, but that's not going to happen. Anyway it is not like I spent my life savings. After I sell the car, I will be out about $30K after all is said and done.

think of the good things, who cares about money, there is always more to make!!

Not many, and if any did at all it would be a lie. Ever sat in a coupe back seat, or are you trying to make the coupe owners jealous?

HAHA i'm with the guy who said he would be on suicide watch. I've own 3 full out show cars of which just estimating losses would be 20k on the first one, 30k on the second and the third one I just sold I took a 15k hit. But like the gentlemen said. It's all about living life once and just enjoying it while you can. Don't think about the money you're spending think about the fun you're going to be having.

I just ran up to the gas station at the corner to get some milk. I'm topping off the tank and this old guy, prolly 65 years old or so, walks up to me and says "wow nice f*cking car man." I was like WTF!? That has to be worth a couple thousand in mods right there!

I get that a lot and my car is bone stock Kidding, to be quite honest the modding goes with the owner, not with the car. No matter what car you have, you'll always want to mod it, until you go through a complete change of priorities when the modding won't matter anymore. How much modding is enough? It's a function of your bank account and your common sense.

And btw Todd your G is simply gorgeous.

and while we are on compliment stories...

I was at the drive through at Wendy's yesterday (yea yeah, i live on fastfood) and I was 3rd in line (next to order) and as usual I got my windows (and sunroof now, thanks Dan ) open and music blasting. Then the car in front of me gets through ordering and pulls up so on queue I start turning down my music and pull forward when I hear the guy behind me yell "nice car man". I responded with "thanks man I love it". He then said "That things fast huh" so of course I responded with "well it will kick an M3s ***" HAHA just kidding, I just said "yeah it can move" then he ended up behind me in the left turn lane where I put him in my dust flying around the truck that was in front of me.
