It's weird. I have a slightly rough idle, get the timing advanced and the problem is solved for 2 weeks. The problem comes back and I get the timing set back to stock and the problem is gone again.
I would have thought that the idle would be worse now instead of back to like an stock car.Any way, the important thing is my head unit is working well again. Let's just hope this one is good for at least 3 weeks.
Also, thanks to OMI for the killer hook up on the stereo equipment.
What a fun day!
Lokey did a great job installing the new mirror in my G... Thanks to John Oliva for setting the installation up and making sure everything was perfect... and I finally got to meet some of the Orlando FGC crew... and we had a great lunch to finish everything off!
I took a few pictures during the day... Lokey used several FGC cars for a new yet-to-be-created video... so everyone started by cleaning up their cars...
Here's a shot of Todd polishing his G before the photoshoot...

Wes and Sean are washing Sean's car...

Wes and Sean are washing Wes' car... Sean is washing the wheels on the other side when this picture was taken... I'm pretty sure he was...

Chris pulled up fashionably late with his car spottless... as usual...

Here are a few pictures taken during the actual video session. The fellow in the blue shirt (ack: I can't remember his name?) was filming the video for Lokey. Here he's trying to find Todd inside his tinted windows...

The next interview with Chris was done with the window open...

Sean gets interviewed too...

And finally Mike's G gets a close up... I hope he got a shot of those drilled and slotted brake rotors...

And that's it... A fun day... Certainly the most fun I ever had at a car dealership...

ps:
When we were at Lokey, you mentioned a specific watch that you thought had good value for a resonable price. What was the name of that watch and the store you recommended? You can PM me if you would rather not post to the group.
pps:
I remember the old odometer style you mentioned. When I first looked at your watch I was mezmorized and didn't know what you meant... there is a lot of stuff going on in that watch...
it came to me later... beautiful watch!Thanks...

[QUOTE=_jb]I have a few more pictures and a couple of videos. The videos are pretty big, so I'll just hold them until we get together again...

jb, that would be the Tissot brand. They have 2 automatics that I know of and several quartz. Of the automatics, there is a sport version and a dress version. The Jared jewelry store across the street from Lokey has them on display. Also, you can take a look at the Raymond Weils as well at their location.

Glad everyone had a good time last Friday- I did as well. Sometimes I get so busy at work that it's nice to have visitors to be able to take a break with...
Thanks again for the visit, and lunch was my pleasure.
