Maybe the St. Petersburg people (and Tampa crew?) could meet at Freedom Lake Park. It's close to Quaker Steak and I think there are lots of parking places. I think this is the place that has a big F-16 on a pole in the front.

C-Keith, you are correct. Freedom Lake Park closes at dusk. I'm not sure when exactly dusk is, but it was dark by 9pm tonight.
I also attached a picture of the gate area in front of the park. We could meet here if no one can find a better spot. The gate area doesn't appear to be in an area that is too well lit and it is a few blocks from the highway...
If you do still want to meet here, I attached a small map (thanks MapQuest!) that shows the route to the Freedom Lake Park front gate.
Quickie directions from 49th Street: Turn East at the light on Lake Boulevard, then a quick right, then a left on 102nd Avenue North, then a right on 46th Street. Gate is about 100 feet down 46th Street.

John, lets try to meet there @ the Freedom Lake Park (the entrance) at 9pm. If PeralWhite03 can meet us there too that would be great, then I'll call Dan on his cell so we can all meet up togther. I hope this plan works out for everyone 'cause I'm off to bed now and I'll be working all day tomorrow so, it will be hard for me to follow-up on this forum. See you guys tomorrow.

You guys just finally decided to go out somewhere near me.... unfortunately I am heading out of town this afternoon for the entire weekend.... Damnit... we need to do this again! I want to meet everyone local....
