This is just a reminder for everyone who is part of the Florida G35 Club. Please fill out your voters ballot that were e-mailed to all of you (with a signature) and mail them in by Feb. 27th 2005. March 2nd, Wednesday, will be the day that we certify the election. Your ballots MUST BE MAILED BY FEB. 27th for your ballot to make it in the PO BOX BY MARCH 2nd. Your vote is critical to the upcoming FGC election so don't procrastinate. Fill out those ballots and send them in!

Thank you to the 16 people (out of 80) who took the time to mail in their ballots. It's kind of disapointing that the rest of you didn't take this whole club/voting situation more seriously. It really makes the people working to pull this club together question whether it's really worth all of the effort. Seriously!

i dont know if my vote was counted. i totally forgot about the ballot sitting on my desk. so i had it sent off monday morning. im sorry if i was a little too late.

 

...or some support from our club members! For those of you who know me well know that I always call it like I see it. Having less than 25% of the club members vote is PATHETIC! I'm not even sure if we can certify the election? Jason, you reading this? About half a dozen people have been busting their butts 20+ hours a week to pull off this first meet and we can't even get people to print out a piece of paper and lick a stamp? I'm really discouraged by this!!!

Hopefully things will change in the future especially after this Lokey Meet turns out to be a HUGE SUCCESS. The peoples who plan the next meet are going to have their work cut out for them w/o more involvement from our club members...

No chance of that... I'm just voicing my concern instead of letting all this aggravation build up. Maybe if people realize that a little help goes a long way, everyone will get involved. I've asked nicely for peoples help and that didn't work, now I'm letting people know that if they want this club to work, they'll have to do their VERY MINIMAL part in making it work! I don't think we have enough votes to even certify the election due to lack of participation. I think we need either a minimum of 30 or 33% of the group to vote and we got less than 25%. That's weak and you know it! Heck, everyone knows that's weak.

Also, there is a clause in the Bylaws that automatically defers the role of president to non-beastie successors. By default Demonteverde987654321.5 would be president!

sweet....i get the job where my only job is to sit back and wait for the president to get shot...then if he does i just sit back and wait for the next president to get shot....ahhh the life
