XtremeG, you have mail. Also, we already have a Chris D- in the club. That's redwillow! At least I'll have one less name to remember!

For anyone who is interested I'm trying to get a group together after the Lokey meet on March 5th to go to Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It's located off I-4 in Tampa. We can get something to eat and maybe play the tables for a few hours. If your interested let me know so I can work on the details.

When you mentioned Hard Rock the other night I didn't know it was a casino. I need to start greasin' the skids for that little trip.

I'm up for it, I suck at poker but I've been told I'm good luck lol. I love to hit up the slots though. We have a Hard Rock hotel & casino down here too in case the next G35 club meet is in S Fla

Btw whose idea was it to put "Charter Member FL G35 Club" in our member titles? Thumbs up!!

when did u mention that?? i missed it
not a bad idea though, the information for it is as follows
they have:
$1/$2 Holdem
$2/$2 Holdem
$1/$2 Omaha
$2/$2 Omaha
$2 7-card stud
that could be slightly off but i know the Holdem is right

they are all Fixed Limit games
$1/$2 means $1 big blind and $1 bets after flop...$2 bets after turn and river..max of 3raises for each round

and the wait when i went at about 10pm was almost 2hrs...3-4pm might be a little less (you can sign up and leave but if you miss your name, you missed your seat)
i'll probably be up for it if you (or someone) promise to take me home afterwards

I'm in to go to Hard Rock afterwards. I'll probably stay over night if we do end up going to the casino.

I'll bounce between the craps and blackjack tables if there's that kind of wait for hold'em.

Maybe Todd could get someone to donate some casino bucks for the raffle.

I didn't think they had table games. Only poker and slots.

I have to take credit for that one. I thought it would be a good idea to help get exposure. Hopefully everyone will start posting more outside the SE forum.

I mentioned it during the poker game last week. You were too busy counting that huge stack of chips you had.

I thought the same thing but their website says they have 50 tables of Live Action Poker, with everything from Seven-Card Stud to Texas Hold'em to Omaha.

LMAO...thats all they have...."everything from"?? how misleading!!

yeah, nothing but slots and poker...we left and came back 15min before they called us so it was perfect...at 3pm i would think the wait would be ALOT less

as for staying all night, i doubt anyone will play much past 10-11pm if they started at 4pm....orlando ppl might be better off driving home, miami and jacksonville might not want to drive for 3hrs that late

I'm not going to be gambling since I'll have the wife in tow and I'll have to p/u the kids that evening. If anyone wants to caravan back w/ me that's cool. I figured that we would all go out and grab a bite to eat around 4pm (after the meet) but if some of you want to gamble, maybe others will want to grab a bite before the long drive home. That's easy enough to find out at the meet, so I'm not too worried about it.

Sean, I'll give you $5 to play slots with... You spend the $5 only once, and what ever is left in the change holder after you've spent it, just give it to me the next time you see me...

YES! I figured that people would go out for dinner or something after the meet. With a large group of people it will take a couple of hours for us to get to a restaurant, get seated together, order food, eat and have good conversation. This should set the Miami people on their way home with full stomachs, smiles on their faces, and MAYBE raffle prizes in their trunks or installed in their cars.
