A girl friend of mine just got and it seems really nice has a built in gps that tell you how fast you are going when the radar goes off. Also learns false readings like automatic doors and lets you block them out. It also uses the same cord and window mount as there older radars so if you had your last one hard wire it will just snap right in. I am gonna try hers out for a while and if I'm happy I guess I will be 500 bucks poorer.

I am a long time Valentine user and I really like them... but... I have to say that it looks like they are really falling behind.

Does the Escort have a rear antenna so that you can see if someone is coming up behind you?

I know it has complete 360 protecton for radar and laser if thats what you mean. I have it in my car now will let you know how it works. I am worried that the gps might not work well with the radar mounted to the rear view mirror like mine.

 

i have to say i definitely miss my 8500 x50. ill probably send it in to get repaired because i dont want anything else.
