2007-05-06 Performance Factory Dyno Day - Pictures
The Performance Factory in Orlando held one of their wildly popular Dyno Days today, May 6, 2007. The basic scenario is that people come from all over Florida to have Jeremy dyno their cars. Jeremy takes more care than is usual during a dyno day, hence his dyno days are very popular.
The day started early... Here we see Jeremy walking out his front door to survey the cars in the parking lot. I got there at 9am and people were still wanting to dyno at 5:30pm when I left... Fun day, thanks, Jeremy!

Here's a very tricky shot of Jeremy's shop... Hmm... Something looks a bit different, but cool... Hint: any CSI fans out there?

Shermie was the first up for a dyno session. His car is really looking good with his new wheels and tires... and also a new set of rotors to go with them.

Here Chuck and Shermie help Jeremy back up Shermie's Coupe...
OK, they might not be helping too much...

It was nice to meet AJ today... Here's a picture of the engine in his record setting TurboNetics 350Z...

Kevin (LakelandKev) showed up today and dynoed his slick 350z.

Kevin has a slick exhaust... I can't remember which exhaust it is, but I like it...

And now, here's the feature everybody always asks for... Laser Red Corner... Sean and I don't usually park next to each other, so a few pictures were taken to mark the occasion.

Sean dynoed his car today...
It was a close fit up the dyno ramps...

Here Chuck discusses a few secrets, I mean options, with Jeremy...

And at the end of the day, Sean happily drives off...

Matt's Laser Red Coupe stopped by in the afternoon and represented the color well...
Matt's new grille looked super !!!

Hard to top all that LR madness, but there were plenty of other hot VQ's too...
Coming up...

Jose represented with his beautiful IP Coupe... Is it shiny or what... Check out the reflection of the clouds in his hood... Cool!

A nice Black Coupe...

The winner of the most horsepower for a NA Revup engine... 261 horsepower, I believe. Nice Z!

A very nice Z in one of the new '07 colors...

Ryan attended, fresh from his HIN win in St. Petersburg, and dynoed his Coupe...

Chuck also had trouble getting up the dyno ramps without scraping... Many spacer boards were required...

Chuck's new Rotora BBK is beautiful...

The crown jewel of this show (in my opinion) was Priscilla's new 2007 350Z. Very nice! This is the first VQ35HR I have had a chance to look at and I have to say it is very impressive. Little did we know how impressive it would really be.

Here's a shot of the new dual air inlets... Very impressive! I think the final numbers on priscilla's Z were 278 horsepower!!! As far as I can remember, that's higher than any other NA VQ... except Jeremy's 305 horsepower monster.

Another unique feature of the new Z is easily removable air filters... As you can see here... The filters (there are two of them) are removed by undoing the snaps and just lifting the filters out... Very cool!!!

That's it for me! Hope everyone had as much fun as I did...
