Geesh what the hell do you have in your home that they want so bad that they attempted to break in twice in less than 24 hours? ADT is cool. I have one installed on my property as well.

Aparently its some gang that scopes out houses and break into cars bunch of teenagers. I noticed a large group always walking up and down the block lately while Im washing my cars and they always ask some stupid questions about the cars and I dont pay attention so its probably them.

That's rough. I'd probally ****** one of them by the neck and hold him hostage in the garage for a couple of days making an example out of him to his friends. Good luck though and be careful. These kids are crazy today and there is no telling what one of them may do.

^I can ship you my pitbull for a vacation...lol. He's my backup home security. Get a good hound (Rottwieler, Pit, Bullmastiff) and get them trained. I have a friend that lives in Little Hati, FL and he has some type of German gaurd dog which he had trained. A while ago some thugs broke into his home and boy did they get a surprise.

Are with USAA or a Active or former Military?

Because USAA has a 20% discount for members.

nope not yet in Oct I will but at the moment no

ADT is offering me 99 installed free alarm includes 4 entry points (doors) and 2 Motion sensors

each add, motion sensor is 100 and if I want window contacts its 50 each
You think thats a good deal
I was gonna add an extra motion sensor to put in my spare room where I got my pc's laptop and DJ equipment

ugh, i work for ADT and i hate that company...but...i will say the service with them is pretty good from what i've heard. So as much as i hate working for them, the service is pretty good. If your getting a deal like that, your prolly going through an authorized dealer because ADT corperate doesnt do deals like that, with ADT corperate your looking at the 700$+ range for a system.

uhhh you cant have them installed yourself. ADT wont let you install your own equiptment and then have them monitor it. you have to have them install it, add-ons included.

Pick up the phone book and check some other local alarm companies, some locksmiths also install alarms. You may find a competitive price with better options.
Meanwhile be selective about your property. Keep your garage closed if you aren't pulling a car in or out, you don't need to display all your goods to the hood.

^^^this man is correct. You'll find that while ADT's service is pretty good, most other companies are very good for residential as well. The only time i'd chose ADT and ADT alone is if i owned a business. I barely ever hear of complaints on the business end. I dont recomend going with a small mom and pop operation for this. As we all know though, you get what you pay for as well sometimes. But ADT's prices are jacked up. One good company in Florida is Safetouch actually, might want to check into them.

Mom and pop places many times offer better service and better quality products. ADT isn't quality and they manufacture their own products.

Anyways, I am actually starting up my own business with my dad who has been doing this for 25 years. He has done many celebrities in Orlando along with Disney and Universal. We should be up and running in another month or so. If you are still in the market, drop me a PM. We should be able to get you any kind of products you need at a good price.

If you want a straight foward answer about ADT though... I honestly wouldnt pay for it. If its free then cool but not likely.
