No. The 03-05 headlights use reflectors. The 06-07 headlights use projectors.

I saw 2 used sets on ebay for $530 and $550 yesterday.

you are correct in that part ryan but that is just the bulb type. the bulb difference is just the little cut out that they have have so they can fit in the housing. i currently have d2s bulbs in my reflectors that have an extra little notch put in them so they will fit in the housing. the ballast is what makes the bulb work. turns 12v into a high voltage to get the bulb to light then is able to handle the high current when the bulb is on and the voltage drops. i imagine that you could use the old ballasts because my d2s bulbs are working fine on my d2r ballasts but am not sure. gilley jb what you guys have to say?

basically it comes down to due the two have the same mounting locations and holes. if someone has their old ones and new ones they can look at and ompare that would be great.

I want to say that the ballasts are the same, but I'm not positive. I'm not sure enough to tell you to go ahead and buy the housings without ballasts.

In any event, $450 is by far the cheapest I've ever seen the projector housings without bulbs. Mine were $540 before Infiniti raised the price.

I'd say buy the housings without the bulbs before they are sold out! I can't imagine them ever being cheaper than this!

The ballasts are probably the same, but the rest of the wiring harness is definitely different. All four bulbs are different between the 03-05 housings and the 06-07 housings.
