While detailing my '05 G35 I noticed RED PAINT on the applicator! Correct me if I'm wrong(this is a rhetorical ?) but can this mean anything other than no clear coat on the paint job? The car has 26,000 miles!

I've emailed Orlando Infiniti regarding this problem, and I will keep everyone apprised of their response!

Any comments?

 

Was it from just one section of the car or the whole car? Maybe a section was re-painted before you bought the car?

 

it's happened... my side view mirrors weren't clearcoated from the factory. i had them redone about 2 months ago because they looked like crap and were blotchy. when i tried polishing them i got a lot of paint on the applicator as well

 

wow thats crazy. let us know what they say.

 

It was also on my side view mirrors...just like the previous posters' laser red '04!

I didn't check on any other parts of the car....I will however, make a stink at the dealership!
