ohhh man.... i thought it was mid to late 08'?? early next year sounds like a good prediction for its release, when do you think they will start taking pre-orders?? screw turboing my G now, i wanted to join the FGC boat of FI but thats out of the question now

 

its suppose to hit Japan around November and hit our coasts near the end of the first quarter of '08

if the price is right, i'll probably order in April and wait those long 3months to get it by midsummer

I liked reading about the new G coupe engine......a stock TT 3.7L!!

 

where did u read that?????

they said it was "expected" to be a detuned version of the GTR engine....i.e NA, heavier pistons, etc...but is thought to be a G37


in actuality the new G is more under the wraps than the GTR...prolly cause the GTR has been in development for almost 5yrs and the new G might just piggy back with some of that technology

the way I read it is that the new G coupe will have a 3.7L VQ-HR motor with Twin Turbos.

 

not really. "VQ37HR-TT" is the codename for the gt-r engine, which sounds like a stronger version of the regular HR. the g35 will have this stronger engine which could mean higher hp g's with less work.
