25 more Americans RIP
I don't know about you guys, but this Iraq wars is taking forever to resolve. I've got several friends out on the lines and other places. That whole country and other nations are shady.
Four U.S. soldiers and a Marine were killed Saturday during combat in Anbar, the Sunni insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad, the military said. A roadside bomb also struck a security patrol northeast of Baghdad, killing one soldier.
Saturday's carnage also included 12 soldiers killed in a Blackhawk helicopter crash northeast of Baghdad, five killed in a militant attack in the holy Shiite city of Karbala and two others slain elsewhere in roadside bombings.
Iraqi gunmen in Karbala used classic sleight of hand as they ambushed and killed the five U.S. soldiers at a security meeting.
Other were a road side bomb, Dressed in military uniforms and driving black sport utility vehicles commonly used by official U.S. convoys and foreign dignitaries, the militants were waved through a police checkpoint at the outskirts of the city Saturday. Police even radioed ahead to the provincial governor's office to tell the guards to expect visitors.
The insurgents then broke into the building using percussion bombs and killed five U.S. soldiers and captured two others, said provincial governor Akeel al-Khazaali. Iraqi troops later found one of the SUVs with three dead bodies dressed in military uniforms, he said.

OIL.........If we were getting oil from Iraq the war might be worth it but I dont think we are. We went in on a hope and a prayer that there was WMD and there wasnt. now i think we are trying to get IRAQ stable enough where we can have permanent bases in case we have to attack IRAN.
in case? this wont be over until either we leave accepting the fact we cant change the world (which wont happen).....or everyone in the middle east bows down and accepts democracy into their hearts (which wont happen)
lets just hope North Korea blows themselves up before they blow up the rest of the world

This is so true it is one thing to win a war its another to change a country politically. Two very different things.
