Volks, and I'm not saying that because I don't want you to have the same wheels as I do...I say that because they are simply better wheels...

I think the real question is if you simply want the show factor of a black wheel. If you just like the look, get the Sevas. If you are going to mod your car and want all the performance you can get, stick with hte Volks. If you care about quality and knowing that you've got better goods than the next guy, get the Volks...If you care about price and and want new tires, get the Sevas...

 

Are the Volks new?

I know you say the tires are used... but just for clarity, I'm askin.

And I dont think $2600 or $2500 is "a steal"... that's just a used price (if the rims are used)... now if the rims are NEW, then jump on it.

I think you can do better than the SEVAS. and I wouldn't go for the Challenges. but it's all up to your own wheel style pref.

Good luck & remember, volks aren't like diamonds, They're just a well made wheel.

oh yeah, and I like the color of the volks better...

I'd say the seva's on looks... but here is something to think about. Those tires that come bundeled with your volk's are perhaps some of the heavier tires out on the market. Heavy tires denotes decreased acceleration just as heavy rims do. This is not new. IMO get the seva's with Toyo T1S which are some of the LIGHTEST tires on the market. bottom line, if you are interested in performance, don't just look at wheel weights (19.5 on the volks, couldn't find the others) but also at the tire weights. Wow people are still on this thread? Heh, I ended up getting 19" Konig Privat Profils in black with Nitto Neogens for a steal, but thanks again everyone for your input. I'll probably get some Volks when I reach baller status...

 

how do you like the neogens? are the wearing evenly? how many miles on them?

 

id go with sevas for 1700

 

get the Volks...Sevas are nice wheels...ut that design and at 19...they are going to look smaller than they really are...juss my opinion...good luck on makin your up your mind!
