You have to get the external CD changer. I want to get one for mine that reads DVD/MP3 etc, but I can't tell what's what on the Eclipse website.

ps i would need someone to install who id be willing to help and pay in beer heh.
basically you need to think if you want all the extra goodies , such as Bluetooth, mp3 player, etc.
if you do, then get a nuvi 360 for $550ish?
if you only want GPS and none of the extra features, I'd get the Garmin c330/c340 for $360/$440ish.
I personally went with the 2nd choice. My Bose 6 cd changer is plenty good for MP3s and didnt need BT.

You will need the Nissan harness adaptor and the antenna adaptor.
I like the Kenwoods because of the 5 volt line output (some models) and because of the KNA-G510 navigation module, which is made by Garmin. I'm also familiar with Kenwood products and the other Garmin products (I have two other Garmin GPS units) and they are the leaders in GPS. Plus navigation updates are usually around $75 or so.
I considered the Elcipse units, but at the time, the double slot unit (CD and DVD) were too much.

ya ive studied the kenwoods, pioneers and eclipses a bit by now. i found a 2 month old eclipse avn5495 that im trying to get around $1000. brand new they retail around $2200 so i think its a pretty good deal. the only reason downside of this unit ive read is that the internal music storage requires regular cds to be played in real time. either way, ive got all my mp3 cds so im not too worried. this is only a single slot for cd/dvd but the navs internal and i cant watch dvds and listen to music at the same time anyway.

I do like the Nuvi's size a little better. But I bought a C because , really .. its not like youll be carrying it all the time.
The Nuvi's screen is also a little better. But none of that was worth it for me.

ya i was debating between the 2 but then the screens r so tiny compared to an in-dash. i guess i always wanted an in-dash and this is just justification for it.

this is the crap you find on ebay...
"First I am going to tell you some things I think you should know before ending this deal.I travel a lot and now I am in Eastern Europe. The item is going to be shipped from Europe also.My item is brand new, unopened box all accessories included and also an international warranty. Now, I can ship through UPS air next day delivery. I will pay for all taxes. If you wish you can also send me your full shipping info so I can make a reservation on your name .The price of the item is $500 (as I said earlier with shipping and insurance taxes included). .Here I am stuck to western union wire transfer.I can't use paypal because it's not available yet. Just because of this I set up an insurance with ebay which guaranties 100 % of this deal. If you wish I can contact eBay right away and have them send you an invoice with my insurance. If you agree on my terms I am sure we can close the deal right now. Please reply after you think it over.Best regards."
