After a couple of days thinking it over, I thought so too...so I bought the car yesterday (Saturday). The taxes ended up a little less than I thought. The car is IP with grey interior and the premium package, Aero (including the rear spoiler and mudguards), trunkmat and wheel locks.. and I've already read the owners manual from cover to cover and I go outside every chance i get to just look at it.

In the end I think I did well. They gave me $1,500 more for my BMW than anyone else would (including Carmax) and the price of the G35 came out to just a hair under $1,000 over invoice. I know its the end of the 06 model year, but considering what they did on my trade, I was happy with the deal and took advantage of the special financing rates (48 months @ 2.95%) through IFS...

I will be sending my check to become a Premium member as soon as I get though this month as the money I put down has me strapped for the month...

Thanks to all that offered opinions and advice!!

Congratulations on the new coupe. You will enjoy it. Let us know what mods you want to start with and someone can give you some pointers.

So where is a pic of you new ride?

Yup, I'm loving the car so far. Other than handling and interior materials, the BMW pales in comparison to this car. Its got the BMW beat as far as engine/power, features and styling by a wide margin.

As far as pics. I haven't had a chance to do much besides drive it, but I will get some real soon. But you all know what the car (in its stock form) looks like. As for mods. Not gonna do much there. Tint the windows and get a clear bra and eventually a set of clears... and install my Infinty Basslink II (once I read around the foums and figure out how) that's it....

I have some days off in about 3 weeks and I can't wait to Zaino the heck out of it...

Congrats.. ah nothing better than the excitement of getting a new car... and walking out just to take a look at it and make sure it's real I was the same way. Post up the pics when you get a chance, what's a new car thread without pictures?
