Adrian, we were still working yesterday (Sunday). I haven't been on here since Friday. Chuck and I were already into the project by the time you made your post.
Saturday, Chuck and I started the spring and shock install on his car at 7:30. We finished his and began working on the front of my car. By that time, my brother, Wade, and Shermie showed up to lend a hand. Ian, Jose, and Ryan also came over and helped out.
On saturday, we did the front A Arms, springs, shocks, brake rotors, pads, and stainless braided brake lines. Ian and Jose helped my bleed them in time to go to the OZOC meet Saturday night. Shermie did the brake lines and I'm happy to say that he did a great job. I'm still able to stop.
Sunday, chuck and I started at 7:30 again and worked on the rear. We did the springs, shocks, camber arm, toe bolts, and rotors. we were done by noon. When we let the car down, we had some serious negative camber and toe issues, so we made some adjustments and got them so they at least look good. I know it's still out of alignment. After Chuck left, I rolled my rear fenders and changed the rear differential fluid (easy).
Today I'm going to work on the audio, clean the car, and change the rear differential fluid on the sedan. The drain plug for the differential has a magnet on it and the magnet had all kinds of gooey metal shavings on it. So I want to do that to the sedan too. It takes less than 20 minutes.
The sway bars didn't come in on time, so I'll have to do them another day. I also have to install my Samco hoses and P-thon locks.
I would post some pics, but you guys can see it at the meet.
BIG THANKS to Chuck, Shermie, Ian, Jose, Ryan, and my brother for helping me out this weekend. You guys saved me a ton of money. And thanks to daniel at Boosted concepts for a great price on the springs.
