hey guys i should be able to make it tomorrow, the front bumper is still jacked up, I feel bad showing up with it like that. I do have the new bumper in my garage, just haven't had time to take it to the body shop for the work. The car sounds good though. I can't say anything good about Z fever though, the whole experience was horrible over there. I guess i can elaborate more at the meet. laters.

Looks like today is a great day for a Meet and it looks like we'll have a good turnout for our Mini-Meet. If anyone has Steve's (Aznluder) cell, maybe you could give him a call as he might like to attend. Don't forget to sign up if you're coming. I added Moises, glad you can make it.

Well that was sort of a bust for me. Taught me a lesson though... I need to have ppl's cell phone numbers on me. And my cell # is now up in the fgc contact thread.

 

Kyle, I tired relaying John and my brother your number that you gave when you registered, but it seemed to be your dad's work office. I tried.

 

Sorry we got separated. I made a wrong turn after our hour and a half on the bridge, so I expected you to already be there when I got there. I was surprised that no one saw you. All of a sudden I saw you pull out from the Green Iguana and drive towards Anderson Road. I ran out into the street and waved my arms, but you must not have looked in your rearview mirror.

That's a good move. I usually print out the newest version of the FGC cell phone list before I go to a meet.

I'm sorry that you ended up driving all that way and didn't find us. Especially with the fiasco on the bridge! We tried to get your cell number from Ian, but that didn't work out.

We park behind the Green Iguana... right across from the Mexican restaurant that is closed.

 

The Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg FGC members got together at the Green Iguana in Tampa for a WFL Mini-Meet this afternoon. As usual, we had a great time!!!

Many thanks to Daniel, who showed up at the meet to distribute and install several of the driver's side door lock covers. Lots of cudos to Dan for stopping by even though he couldn't stay for dinner!

I managed to take a few pictures of the Mini-Meet. Here's a shot of Dan installing my door lock cover.



Here's another shot of Dan finishing up the job. Note that people not trained for this should probably put a rag over the end of the screwdriver so that no paint gets chipped. (None of mine got chipped.)

Here's a shot of one of the funnest parts of a Mini-Meet... the milling... walking around... looking... shooting the breeze time in the parking lot. Here are the usual suspects... from left to right... Ahmed, Bill, Marc, Daniel, Amanda, and Ben.

Although he isn't shown in any of the pictures, Bill (Ferk) also came late and joined us at the Green Iguana.

It was another fun Mini-Meet for the WFL gang!

Plans are also underway to hold a Mini-Meet with the Bradenton 350z Club. Bill (jaxg35) is going to find out some more info and see what's going on down in the Bradenton-Sarasota area.

For those that didn't make it this time... I hope you can make it next time!!!

 

Ya when I got home my dad said he just saw that he had a message from you guys. Sorry I bailed on you... I couldn't seem to find you, and like I said I should have printed out a phone number list. Oh well I'm sure I'll catch it next time. Hopefully we can do it again soon.
