Backing out of a parking spot, I put the car in drive and then see a Honda Civic backing out straight for my drivers side door. No where to go, I lay on my horn and smash, I see my side mirror fold in and hear a god awful sound with a hard bump. I pull back into my space and the other driver is already getting all of her paperwork out. I get out of the car and to my shock I see 1 large dent in the middle of my door and 3 small dents on the bottom of the door. My clearbra on my mirror absorbed most of the damage and no paint is missing from it. I have a couple pin chips in the door paint (which is really no big deal) and a 1 inch smudge (that I tried to claybar out with no luck). My major concern is trying to get my DG metallic paint matched up perfectly if I take it to a body shop. I want to first get some estimates from PDR or Dent widzard.
So can anyone give me some suggestions to a bodyshop, Paintless Dent Repair or Dent Wizard (From Orlando Infiniti).
Has anyone had good luck from the Orlando Infiniti's Dent Wizard? I do plan to take it to a couple a places (atleast 3) tomorrow for estimates.
I called the woman's Insurance company today (Progressive) and they were at my house in less than 2 hours making a claim for my car
(Wow). I will have the estimate and check in hand after they speak with the woman and get her statemant.
Thanks in advance
!!
The only dent that showed up in the pictures is the large dent.

Damn, I'm so sorry to hear about this, Jason. At least it may be able to be repaired without repainting it. Try a dent removal, but if you do need a body shop, I like Colonial Body Shop. They fixed my wife's and mom's cars with great paint matching and application.

yeah if it can be done with out paint I would go to a dent removal wizared or something to that effect. A body shop will probably just tell you you need to get it painted when you really dont.

Wow, Progressive is sooo fast.!!!!!!!
Check is in the mail with the estimate!
$1,086.78 in damages.
I called Steve at Dentworks express 407-256-3843 and he actually lives 3 miles from me
He will come look at my car either tonight or tomorrow night.
Like I mentioned, the larger dent looks easy to fix but I am worried about the 3 lower dents and the black smudge. Hope things work out with the PDR because I don't really want to have it repainted
