July 8th. Don't know the costs, but I think you have to leave the car overnight on friday.

It's $57.00, and yes you have to leave the car overnight. At least once you have it clean, you know it won't be dirty when you get there in the morning.

Good question. I usually just use the car wash mitt after I'm done with the car and dry everything off with a microfiber cloth. I'm sure there is a lot more we can do though.

A couple things depending on how crazy you want to go. I would use my leaf blower to first blast all the dirt, leaves, junky, out, then rinse it all down with a hose. Make sure you wrap an open element air filter in a plastic bag to keep the water off/away from it.

I'd then mix a bucket of soap and water that you will only use for the engine bay, and use a mitt that's only for wheels or other crappy jobs. If you have an all purpose cleaner around (diluted simple green or something equivalent from discount auto, target, etc.) spritz that around the really nasty areas. Wash down pretty much everything you can reach and get creative with trying to blast water down and rinse everything towards the ground.

Last - back to the leaf blower - and blast everything dry. Apply dressing of your choice to all plastic and rubber pieces. Make sure you have a rag and small brush for all the cracks / crevices. Remove the plastic bag from the intake and close it up.

Usually you'll have to wash the exterior of the car next, b/c doing the engine is pretty messy. Hope this helps.
