Tentative Car Show. The folks at Car Toys in Hurst are trying to get things in order. They really want some nice cars to show up.

Details are not yet finalized. I will get you more info when I find out.

 

I can probably get at least 5-6 show cars to go. Set it up Robert!

Sweet! I'll let everyone know when the show has been finalized. I guess they have to get things approved from corporate. I will post it there when it's for sure.

 

This event will be a car meet and not a contest. They will have a SPL sound off, a DJ and the Hurst Police will have food and drinks available. They will also have some great deals in the store. They are hoping to make this event either weekly or monthly depending on the turn out.

the g was my mom's. i was supposed to use it through college, but she wanted it back, and so i traded with my parents. i now drive my dad's '06 TL 6MT with navigation!

 

When: July 30th Sunday 11am - 6pm

What: Automotive Enthusiast meet and hang-out
Why: To promote the car toys name and our place in the "scene" and bring people in the metro-plex together and give them a secure place to hag out on Sunday if everything goes well and there is a good turn out then this will become a normal once or twice a month meet

There will be live music all day (electronic genre) the HPOA (Hurst police officers association) will be selling food and drinks all day as well consisting of hot dogs hamburgers and things of that nature will be running an SPL meter on anyone's car who is interested free of charge no awards will be given but feel free to talk as much trash as you want if you have the loudest system. I am hoping to also increase the attention of my specific field (car audio/video and ICE ) for the DFW show car scene as it has been my personal opinion that it is the most commonly over look points category in the car show arena. Everyone is welcome to come out and hang out this is considered a car meet and will operate like one there is no huge sale, no trophy's, just a time and place where enthusiasts are welcome to hang out and meet, tail gate and just have a good time, so please come out show support and bring your friends if we make this one successful they will only get bigger and better from then on out.

went up there...meet was sucky...saw like 4 cars there

 

yeah, it wasn't very eventful...i was up there at 1:30 and stayed for a full 10 minutes. the only nice car i saw was a yellow evo.
