I hear these work great if you have no mods. Otherwise, cars that have bolt on's are putting out significantly less power on the dyno with the Hypertech attached. It seemingly puts the ECU in limp mode if it senses the increased air and exhaust flow readings from the mods. Will Hypertech address this issue?

 

the updated hypertech is designed to work with simple boltons such as the stillen / takeda CAI to get an even bigger boost.

 

Is there a different part number for the upgraded model? How do we know we will get the updated model if we order one?

 

Is there a writeup somewhere for this? Any dyno results etc?

 

the part number is the same. We get our Hypertech shipped out directly from them, so they will all be the new ones. Also, we are an authorized reseller, so any warranty, questions, etc, will be covered directly by Hypertech if you have any concerns.
