Space saver, a true revolutionary thinking by Takeda. Came up with single filter with dual intake system. One large filter giving more surface area for the air to be sucked in. Yet brilliant design which can be fitted behind the grilles for maximum air flow.

Producing gains of 19 horsepower and 12 lbs. x ft. torque, Takeda is proud to have engineered this true cold air intake system. The placement of the unique single air filter in the area in front of the radiator guarantees a supply of cool, high pressure air. The Takeda philosophy of "no cutting or drilling" is maintained with this intake system, as flexible urethane couplings are used to pass through existing openings in the radiator core support. The polished aluminum tubes are maintenance-free thanks to the clear anodized finish. Whether for street or race, this is the ultimate intake system for the G37.

Update... No disrespect to you Mr. JEB, but i had to call Takeda and find out when they are shipping the products since I am going on vacation in a week to hawaii for like three weeks. I needed to get a status of what was going on.
So for all the guys waiting, please be patient as it was not JEB's fault for not getting the intakes out. Thanks to the all of the whiners about the water sheild, the manufacturing process which was only going to take 30 days from the original pre-order date ended up being 45 days. (thanks again you rain shield noobs).
Anyway, JEB's orders should start rolling out today 05/13 from AFE. Oh and by the way, I was first in line hehe haha. So, soon as I receive the intakes, I will schedule a dyno if time permits. Hang in there guys and JEB's price did beat out his competitors. SO at least be happy we saved some money. The intakes listed on the AFE website are going for $450.
I didn't ask if the rain sheild was included or not in our pre-orders. Again, JEB sorry for following up with Takeda, I just wanted a shipping date, and the rep Terry, was very nice in explaining the process and the delay.

All drop shipped from Takeda as of today. 05/16/2011. To US address. Canadian and rest of the world orders are going to be shipped from JEB when we receive them tomorrow. Once again all of us at JEB performance appreciate your business and patience. This jouney took us longer than expected.
