What are the benefits of putting this in, besides replacing a worn out clutch? Will the car be more free-revving and rev faster?

Correct. The stock dual mass flywheel is not resurfaceable and is really heavy. By replacing it with the JWT lightweight flywheel it will allow you to be able to service it by replacing the steel insert.

Then being much lighter then the stock dual mass it will allow for the car to rev up much faster and easier.

Sorry, not to jack your thread or anything, but i'd recommend for those who like their stock revs to use a stock flywheel. Along with faster rev's going up, with a lightened flywheel, your rev's drop faster, so you need to shift and disengage the clutch faster. Just FYI, so your are aware before commit to anything.

No problem at all. This is a very true statement. The Revs will come up much faster then stock but of course they will fall off faster then stock until you get used to it. As with any upgrade from stock you will have to adjust your driving style to take advantage of the mod to get the most out of it.

One thing is sure. Since the stock flywheel is a dual mass and is not resurfaceable and then it is $950+ to buy new it only makes since to upgrade to the heavy duty clutch and lightweight flywheel that can be purchased for less then the stock flywheel alone. Plus the bonus that the steel insert can be replaced ecah time you change out your clutch. It makes it a no brainer.

Do you by any chance know the weight of the stock flywheel vs JWT ? This would be nice to have my dealership install at a super discounted price when i bring it back for transmission warrenty. Does the kit come with a throw-out bearing?

The stock flywheel is 22-24 Lbs vs the JWT at 14 Lbs

The clutch kit does not include the throwout bearing since Nissan went to the full hydraulic throwout bearing system so to replace it you have to buy the hydraulic kit from Nissan.
