These look very nice. Is the carbon fiber functional, or just cosmetic? I am going to buy a system in the next few months. I hope we see some good dyno numbers soon.

 

functional.. it makes the set up a little lighter overall

 

It is functional, as well as cosmetic. It is much lighter then stock and even lighter then our traditional Intimidator. Believe it or not this is not an overlay, it is the actual case to the muffler. It is very thick and strong. It is automotive grade carbon fiber.

any plans on making these canisters polished stainless steel instead of carbon fiber with these size tips?

 

Can you get the burnt Ti tips with these?

 

As long as you take care of them, they should last as long as any other muffler.

Yes, we do offer this setup with polished round canisters instead of Carbon Fiber and yes, we do offer it with the 4.5" tip. Reply #116 of this thread by me describes what you are asking...

To clarify one thing, the T.I. tips that we have used in the past are 4". The tips we currently use with this setup are 4.5". In addition, the T.I. tips are next to impossible to get. Now with that said, if you track down a tip that you like that is roughly 4.5" then you can send them to me and I will build the system with your custom tips...
