Motordyne Exhaust

Does anyone here have the Motordyne exhaust on their car? If so what do guys think about the mufflers sitting so low when the car is lowered. I already destroyed 2 sets of V band clamps because ive hit bumps and potholes

Plenty of people on here do. Original clamps on mine for 5 years now. I'm lowered too.

it sucks. I scrape my exhaust just about everyday. Either raise it or ditch it unfortunately 😕

I hate how low this exhaust hangs. I owned the ARK exhaust for 2 years (maybe 3?) and switched to the Motordyne last month. Pretty sure I've scraped the Motordyne more in the last few weeks than I've scraped the ARK in the 2 or 3 years I had it.

I'm not stupid low either, I have a about a finger gap drop

you can make a shield to protect the muffler from scraps or when the flex sections go out, you can weld a through pipe and it'll raise it up a bit.

just a sheet of aluminum i got at Home Depot. I just one that was wide enough to reach the frame rail on each side. I made it mainly to protect it from scraps rather than bumps.

I utilized the frame rail holes by inserting metal fender clips and bolting the sheet metal to that.

Will I scrape on a G37s Sedan with stock suspension? I'm assuming everyone that's scraping is lowered?
