Help G37 sedan starter wont spin just one loud click and battery fuse blows

G37 sedan starter wont spin just one loud click and battery fuse blows
I just swapped out engine on my Infinity G37 sedan. When i press ignition button i hear a loud thump and then everything goes dead as the battery fuse is blown. Any suggestions?
