Flex Plate replacement Z1 or OEM
Flex Plate replacement Z1 or OEM
Hello all, I have had a rattle/chatter coming from the transmission at idle and low rpms while in drive and reverse. I have narrowed it down to a cracked flexplate. Z1 sells a billet aluminum lighter flex plate for $499 and an OEM one for around $463. I wonder if it is worth it to go with the lighter flexplate or just stick to OEM. I am usually an OEM guy but the price is very similar and having a lighter flexplate sounds cool if I'm already going to be in there. Can anyone chime in and give me a recommendation?
I'd stick with OEM unless you have a power adder or at least a shift kit and like using the paddles.
Also, double check they have it in stock before you buy.
Z1 is notorious for long waits on out of stock items.
