Need advice on replacing flooded engine

My G sedan took on a good amount of water due to severe flash flooding in my area on July 4th & hydrolocked, subsequent analysis by a shop found water in the piston chambers, crankcase, intake manifold, & a shot spark plug. Thankfully no water got into the interior of the car or up to where the battery/ecu is located from what I can tell. Shop got the water out, replaced the plug, & the car did start back up, but I was told the cost to get everything back to good working order would be more than replacing the engine & even if the current engine is fixed, reliability would be hit or miss. I don't have comprehensive on the car, so since I'm paying out of pocket I've decided a 2013 or newer year Vq37 would be ideal (Eliminates the oil gallery gasket issue & a couple other issues Nissan patched I believe). In light of all this, can anyone give me a ballpark estimate for cost, if there is anything I need to look out for, & best places to find a suitable replacement engine? Car only had 101k on it when it died, so I'd really like something w relatively the same or fewer miles on it. I've exhausted all leads from salvage yards in reasonable driving distance. Shop said they would research available options but I have not heard anything from them so far, so thus no quote. Thanks.
