I purchased this 2007 G35x sedan over a year ago with 175k miles.

it ran great. But it needed a blower motor and the horn didn’t work. I also knew the drivers side sunroof drain was leaking onto the carpet.

I brought the car to my mechanic and he fixed the sunroof drain, and took apart the fuse box on the drivers side, to dry and clean off everything that got wet. He then started checking fuses and relays for the horn issue, and that’s where things got hairy....

The car developed an issue where it doesn’t start due to a code that pops up (I forget off the top of my head what the code was), but once you clear the code, the car starts and runs great.

but it won’t turn off when you press the start button.... half of the cars systems go offline, but the engine stays on... and an ignition relay code pops up. To turn the car off, you need to disconnect the negative battery terminal, and then press the start button. Then it turns off.

ive replaced the power module under the hood and the BCM already and it hasn’t changed anything.... does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
