2005 g35

Hey members-

My father recently passed away and his 2005 G35( 100K) has been parked in the garage since 2018. It may have ran occasionally. I started it up and let it run in the driveway and it overheated (steam out overfill) after 30 minutes. The car doesn't produce heat either. I took it to shop and they replaced the thermostat but the problem is still there. The car doesn't throw any codes and there is no fluid in the oil and no signs of degradation of the antifreeze. You all have any thoughts? Waterpump? Head gasket? I asked them to perform a compression test on the motor.

Any advice would be appreciated. I hate to sink 3K in a car that's worth 7K.

Welp. Car is in a lot worse shape when I dropped it off. They said they just changed a thermostat. Its blinking check engine soon now and running really rough. Shop claims its busted head gasket.

-sigh-
