Hello there, as some of you know I have been working on this for the past couple of months. The other day I like to believe I finalized it.
A special thanks to Frank motorvate and Cement and other friends outside of this forum for the help.
My main hobby is wiring (swaps and wire tucks) so when I bought the G, especially after the bay work I started to entertain this idea and what came after was months of studying the FSM.
Overall the swap itself is not "that difficult" the difficulties arise when you want to obtain the factory gauges.
For these to work you have to create your own CAN BUS lines so they can all communicate as well as add resistors to it since the IPDM no longer exists (Fun stuff). The last months was trying to obtain a speed signal since the factory uses the ABS sensors to communicate with the tachometer and these readings are sensitive.
Now that I have a working engine and wiring in my garage I can offer wiring services for folks interested in this.
I'll be offering:
Wiretuck harnesses
Auto to manual conversion harness
AWD to RWD harnesses
Universal swap harnesses
G35/350z VHR swap harnesses
Harnesses with a built in oil pressure sensor of your liking
E85/Flex fuel sensor
Cruise control switch for map switching
All harnesses will be tested prior to shipping, I'll try to keep it plug and play as much as possible to help the customer.
At the current moment the swaps are only available to work with the 370z meter with or without the triple meter.
S-mode/Revmatch from the 370z Nismo will be a tough one being the customer has to have a NISMO transmission.
Since S-mode is dependent on the speed it uses the 4 ABS sensors along with an Input shaft speed sensor meaning any change in diff ratio, wheel size, erratic wheel speeds, etc might trip the system.
In my opinion S-mode is not a cost effective option for the customer nor myself especially for what it offers.
Note: The ECM will need to be flashed to Uprev/ECUTEK since there are a multitude of codes that need to be disabled.
For the South Florida locals I can also take care of the installs as well. Huge shout out to the knowledge this forum provides.
Here's an updated look at what the harness can look like. This is the wire tucked version of the harness. I've switched the single wire on/off oil pressure sensor for a true wide range 3 wire sensor. Tucked the wiring to show as much of the valve covers as possible while getting rid off as many brackets I could and routing the back slightly different since the Wire Tuck exposes new areas and the needs to consume as little space as possible.
My kit is built to accept a factory OEM 6speed engine harness this was meant to help lower costs in case you have one and or can get one.
Push to start
Working RPM
Fuel level
Ambient Temp
Coolant Temp
Rev Light
MPH
DATA
Working OEM Fan module
Pricing will be determined on how tailored you'd like the harness to be and how many things I would have to provide.

i recently completed my vhr swap into my 03 350z. the swap kit is from guilty garage and im wondering how you got the gauges to work with the swap? some of mine work but not all, engine runs perfectly

Gauges work because it's a simplified system that utilizes same year CAN wiring and components. Unresponsive gauges are typical with older clusters. Guilty has a CAN module that he usually utilizes to make older gauges work.
