Thinking about switching to Rottela

A lot of G/Z owners use Rotella oil. I was planning on switching to 5w-30 Rotella, does anyone have any experience with this stuff?

I used Rotella in many of my older cars and some race engines because of the added Zinc and cost effectiveness. Though it works for the moment, it's not so good for the long term.
I refused to believe this after reading oil analysis from others, that's when I started to notice evaporation rates were higher and overall there are better oils.
It's hard to resist a gallon of 5w-30 syntethic for $3-$5 less than the competitors. I had been using Rotella since 2007 until 2018. I dont miss it and only recommend when you're trying to prolong the life of a hurt engine.

Mobil 1 0w40 has been great on my car. Had excellent results from Blackstone Labs. Check my IG post about it: jpowers36.
