Gauge Pod idea for boosted G's

I am going to buy the Topgunz ACE S/C kit, and I need a place for at least one gauge in my Q60/G37 coupe. Haven't seen any good options out there, I did find a guy who could modify the A-pillar on a custom order, but I don't want A-pillar gauge in my car. So, I have come up with the idea of making a gauge pod for the overhead sunglass bin. I have the ability to 3D design a gauge pod that could be 3D printed at a local company. I am pretty confident a pair of 52MM gauges could be mounted in a slight angle facing the driver. I intend to design it in such a way that it would look OEM, the sunglass door can be popped out and the pod mounted in place of the sunglass door. Probably would need SEM interior paint for color match.

Just want to see what the reaction from other G owners is on my idea. Not making any promises, but if enough people express interest, I may have a few extras run and put them up for sale for cost, no profit. I'm not looking for any commitments from anyone, just that sometimes it's easy enough to make a few spares of a custom part, most of the effort will be in design.

I may be interested depending on cost. I was going to mount 2 gauges in the drivers side vent and one gauge on the a pillar. I bought an autometer universal a-pillar pod that I'll modify and paint to match the interior, should look decent Let me know if you come up with something, thanks!

This works for me. It will look good once I put it all the way back together. Used an autometer universal mounting bracket and their angle rings. Bent the bracket a little to get closer to the radius of the dash. Waiting on oil pressure gauge and I can button it up. I'll put the boost gauge in a single pod on the a pillar
