Just pre-ordered DOC Race's new top mount kit

Hey guys, haven't seen any talk about it here so I figured I'd be the first. DOC Race is coming out with a top mount single turbo kit for the 370z capable of over 500 hp on the smallest turbo for a really good price. Only issue is its never been tried on a G37, but since I have a 6mt coupe, I believe everything should be straight forward, as the mounting points should all be the same. This kit includes everything I will need except for fueling and the tune, which will be done by Eugene from Enthusiast Auto.
Figured I'd start a thread for my build to keep y'all posted

For sure! First thing I'll be doing is sending Eugene my 2008 ECU for him to swap over the info to a newer one so I have all the goodies that Ecutek offers

Wow, I just took a look and that is a very affordable kit. All Garrett turbos but ball bearing options jump to $5,000 which still isn't bad at all. You can always go with the Journal bearing options and keep the price at $2,000. Tial WGs and BOV. I'm interested in what kind of IC they use.

Some things to consider: Strut tower/support beam will be deleted. Windshield washer reservoir deleted. Power steering reservoir relocated (hardware included which is pretty awesome).

Just did a 'mock' checkout and there's free shipping. I also did a test run choosing the ball bearing option and the price remained at $2,000 through the checkout. Not sure why the price doesn't change to reflect the ball bearing option.

Very interesting. Looking forward to following this and your impressions of the kit.

It is a dope kit, for a good price, from a reputable company, so can't make many complaints. I believe you checked out the deposit for the kit rather than the actual order. The kit starts at just under 4500 for the 58mm journal turbo, but I'll be going with the GTW6265JB, as I don't think lag would be a big issue either way. Shipping was an extra $100, still not bad though

Ah..Google search was not my friend that time. Still, <$5,200 for a 600+ set-up is extremely friendly compared to the current options.

Seeing stuff like this really makes me wish I went with a RWD model sometimes...
