A few weeks ago i noticed a grinding/rattling noise when driving. It did not worry me too much but it has not gone away. I hear it when i downshift using my slap-shift (A/T) going from 3rd-2nd gear. I also hear it when i am in reverse. Does anyone know what this sound may be? It sounds more like a grinding than a rattle but i would really like to believe it is a rattle. I researched online & it said it could be a chipped/cracked tooth on a gear. Does anybody have any ideas?
