Oil Light Going on Periodically

Hey, so my oil light keeps going on periodically. It has fresh oil, its clean, its full, it runs great. But every once in a while (usually when im gassing it pretty good) the oil light will come on for like 15-30 seconds, and then go off again. Anyone else experience this? Anyone know what's going on? If it is a problem, and if i should worry about it?

You're experiencing low oil pressure. Bad, very bad when beating on the engine. Immediate resolution needed.

I'm by no means a mechanic, but willing to look into it and figure it out. Where would I start? Any ideas?

Well, I just bought the car used, and I got it for a REALLY good deal, so naturally i bought an all encompassing extended warranty. Worst case scenario I'm in a rental for a while. Whatever the case i just want to get the ball rolling now so they can pay for it all

Worst case scenario is that they tell you they don't fix these parts. It happened to me with my BMW, I cancelled the warranty and they charged me 250 for doing absolutely nothing.

HA sounds like my BMW story, car need a motor, dealer wanted my to pay 6k on top of the claim to put a used motor in it. OR exhaust my warranty (18k) then give them 12k for new BMW motor 30k!!! YEA RIGHT , traded the car cancelled the warranty and bought a Q50 off lease CPO till 2022 unlimited miles.

They charged me $700 for doing nothing
