hey guys so a few months ago I went to the dealer and they said my left cat was internally loose. Had my personal mechanic test it and nothing came up. I have been noticing that at random times when I go to accelerate my car hesitates and there is a delay in the pedal. Originally I had just assumed it was the way the car is since I had read others had that problem. But when I start my car there is a faint rattle at idle. Still not throwing any CEL codes and my mechanic said that as long as that isn't happening I should be good. What other signs should I be looking for?

 

Well if cat is coming apart which will throw o2 sensor off affecting your af mixture making your car drive funny

yea I mean my car does drive a little funny but wouldn't it throw a code if that was the case?

 

prob just upgrade to HFC at that point right?
