2008 G37s won't shut off

So..... this is the deal. I FINALLY got a G37s coupe.(2008 tech, nav, the works) 4 days later car won't shut off. Got it to shut down( choked off at intake) now, no start. EXACTLY the same conditions as TSB for "push button non responsive" for 2010 and newer. (Reprogram BCM) Had it towed to local Nissan Dealer where tech didnt know how to use Consult 3... nice! Had it towed home a week later where I can disconnect and jump starter and it will run and drive with no CEL. Still not shut off .. Pull the fuel pump fuse as per Nissan shut down. Disconnect batt, all good. Really TIRED of so called TECHS who don't know a$$ from a hole in the ground. Ordered a new/ used BCM from e-bay, should be here this week. Do I really need to find a Nissan tech to reconfigure BCM (and program key fobs) or can I get this done by someone in the GTA (Toronto Ont) or north of the city (Muskoka)who actually has a clue what they are doing...?
I have been involved in the auto service industry with both GM and NISSAN so I am not without experience.
Thanks for any reasonable replies

You'll need Consult 3 or equivalent.

Maybe this or this will help.

A Nissan dealership where no one knows how to use CONSULT? Is this a joke?

CONSULT 3 is required for programming the BCM to your car. There is no way around that. Even a replacement BCM will require reprogramming.

If the service department at the dealership is that inept, as apparently they are, than you will have to find a mechanic that has C3 and go from there.

G37 won't startassessment

thanks for your replies guys. Kind of my first dive into the pool of public opinion.. I was really hoping for a member to suggest an individual or a dealership (shop) that might be fair or knowledgeable in their assessment of a problem I am having. I have decided to entrust ( for now) a Nissan Shop north if the GTA and south of my current location to program my BCM and see what happens. I will advise on the outcome because I truly dislike threads with problems that disappear without resolution
thanks again

Just call around to some import specialist shops and ask if they can handle the job, its not hard man. Not to mention, almost every shop is cheaper than the dealer.

RESOLUTION!!! Replaced IPDM fixed the problem. The solution was complicated by replacing existing BCM with a used EBAY part that was defective. After chasing my tail for a few days after replacing IPDM, I installed the original BCM, got a quick program by a great Nissan tech in Orillia Ontario and presto my coupe is good to go! Perfect timing because the snow comes Thursday.!!

2008 g37s 6mt

So last year I was having an issue, my G wouldn’t turn off, took it to my mechanic and he decided to play guessing games with my money, first he replaced the BCM, after that it just got worst, started going into limp mode, before the only issue was the yellow key light would come on either before starting or when I wanted to turn off.
then he said it was the power steering module, got that replaced too and same BS. Got tired of guessing games and took the car to Infiniti, they told me it was either the ipdm or the harness, got the ipdm replaced then they told me they were getting codes from the control unit, I thought to myself, another playing guessing games.
picked up the car and the turning on/off was actually working, only thing that was happening was the yellow key light and tpms comes on when the engine is cold, once I start driving the lights turn off and while the engine is warm the lights won’t come on no matter how many times I turn it off or on.
so I decided I can live with that until i can find someone that really understands this wiring/electrical issue.

well today same issue returns, I can start it with no issues, turning off, same thing, key light comes on all the others turn off and immediately turn on again and engine won’t turn off, have to stall the car then disconnect the battery, after a while everything is working properly until eventually this happens again god knows when.

so I replaced the BCM, power steering module and ipdm and got a control unit from a trustworthy guy….
what exactly could be causing this issue since I already replaced the modules that are related with this?? Could it be the harness?? The Infiniti tech told me he check the wiring and everything was ok, altho I have my doubts since I saw the ground cable that goes to the cat loose.
