Lol no I have long tube headers, Factory cats would be a disaster with Boost.

 

Long tube headers are probably costing you hp in this application as well. No offense intended. I think you’ve done a really great job! Super impressive results especially considering the budget.

 

You're right... If I had a choice Id use z1 headers. But I already had these on when I was na.. too much work to remove lol

 

Tells you something when the guy who installs his own custom turbo kit thinks headers is a PITA.

 

Oh man, after you get that exhaust routed in a more linear way, you're going to see spool times decrease for sure. Not to mention getting maybe a .91 AR or something. Good work man!

 

Have you seen a header install on our cars? It's brutal. Most say it's easier to just pull the motor out. Also, can't talk smack if you aren't turbo

 

this started as a project cause i wanted to finally boost something in my life lol. i originally wanted a gt3582, figured that would be a great and ideal size for my car and it being rearmounted..

i dont build a lb till 4k rpm and in full 11lbs of boost by 5k rpm. alotta people complain about it or say its super bad. but i have uprev arc features. anytime i wanna race anyone i have antilag and im in boost already or at the 1/4 mile i have launch control. so the car is always in boost when i need it.

 

Love the build. As someone who has a name brand kit, I love seeing people come up with cheaper innovative ways to do things.
