Check engine soon light only on when engines off?

Dont know if this makes sense but whenever im waiting in my car i usually turn off the engine and just use the battery to run the radio, ac etc. Ive always ignored the lights in the gauge cluster because they always go away after i actually turn on the engine but now im wondering if all this time those are legitimate warnings and not just becuase im using the battery only. Ive also got an oil and battery light on. Sorry for the blurry pictures my phones camera broke and doesnt focus very well.

anyone else get this? Is this normal or are these legitimate warnings that the car is giving me?

It's normal just like your other warning lights. I think it's to show your warning lights are not burnt out.

All those lights are normal. The vehicle runs a bulb check when the key is turned to the on position. If there is a problem, the light will stay illuminated when the engine is started.
