P0012 to P0081

Hey guys first post

I have a 2010 G37X

So I got check engine light on scanned and got P0012 and was on limp mode for a few days until I figure out that I needed the VTC Bank 2 Solenoid replaced after research on many forums..

I replaced it all fine and dandy until I revved it to 3500rpm and wouldn't let me go any further.. car drives fine as long as you don't revv it that high.. I suppose it is a safe mode.. then few minutes later the check engine light comes on and it scanned as P0081.. the code states that it might have a bad connection..

I am gonna play with it for a while and see if the code goes away.. check the connections

Just wanted to know if anyone experienced this before?

Check your oil level and condition.

those codes have to do with the vct/vvt

could be a few things causing the problem and not just the part you replaced itself.

Hopefully someone with experience can chime in

Solenoid fixed the problem.. They sell it on Amazon for around $25. Easy fix just need to unscrew the coolant reservoir to have more space and better access.. Lots of research online got the job done..

Replaced sensors, problem continues

So I replaced the VVT solenoid, o2 sensors, camshaft pos sensor, and my car is still going into limp mode, when the CEL goes on, the code is still P0011, at this point someone said that I might have to take it to Infiniti to get a full diagnosis. If I clear the code my car won’t run past 3800 RPM, and when the code comes up goes into limp... anyone had the same thing happen?
