^ just go to carmax. Tell them you bought the car a couple days ago and have maxcare. And you noticed the engine sounding louder than normal and wanted them to verify if there was a problem.

How much is your deductible?

I think it depends on the dealership really. Half the time they'll inspect for free; especially since you just purchased it. Just be nice.

Just switch over to redline oil and see if the noise goes away. Then you know its the infamous VVEL ticking.

No one at CarMax will know anything about these motors. If you want to pay a dealership to inspect its your $$.

Uodate: the car was struggling to accelerate in the freeway this morning. Taking it up to carmax now
