Power Steering pressure line

Anyone have any experience with leaking PS? I thought maybe it was the rack and pinion as I've read many posts here about it. After getting her on the rack and with the help of our Z area mechanic - he pointed out it was coming from above on the pressure line, thus coating the entire underside of the car.

So I have 2008 G37S fully loaded and my problem is I can't be fore sure which hose to buy!? There's like multiple part numbers and superseded parts.

Originally when my mechanic and I looked it up - we found: 497201EA0A

I then called the local Infiniti dealer and gave them my VIN and they gave me: 49720JK62C

Which is a superseded part from JK62B - I've also found variations and many part stores with one number difference too. lol

Anyone know for sure how to tell? I'm feeling like I should just use what Infiniti dealer gave me from the VIN - I've been able to put my VIN in a few parts house website and get either that number of the one my mechanic gave me - as well as 49710JK62C<---WHICH IS WAY MORE for whatever reason.

I didn't think a pressure line would cost as much as rebuilding a rack and pinion...this sucks for a $300 hose (which infiniti wants $398 for)

I'll be really pissed if it ends up a o-ring and not the crimped line of the pressure fitting. lol

Found this TSB by the way: http://www.infinitig37.com/TSB/ITB14-014.pdf

I'm out of town and don't have any of my tools - I need to get this jacked back up and get underneath and see what the mechanic saw - I couldn't see what he was pointing at! lol #dumb

you can probably find a gates high pressure p/s hose cheaper than the one sold at the dealer. gates hoses are well made and a known brand.

Yeah - I did look them up and no one stocks this thing. My mechanic is thinking it's only rare because they aren't breaking so no one is buying them yet - but the thing is out of stock just about everywhere. I went ahead and ordered one from a Nissan reseller that should be in on the 16th - Once I get that part in I can tear into this and find out what's what. btw, I did find it heavily stocked....in China. I couldn't bring myself to doing that though.

So just as a follow up - I got the part in (49720JK62C) and it was a modified / updated hose but ever so slightly. They extended the soft side and shortened the metal side just a little which actually makes it easier to work on it.

On a side note - the day before the part came in, the leak got worse and sprayed fluid into the alternator that sits above the line. Driving to work in rush hour and the battery/brake lights came on...figured I had a little time and NOOOO...couple miles and bam the car lost all power - dash lights flipped out and I barely made it off the highway.

Damn $260 hose cost me another $600 in replacing the alternator (towing/labor) not counting the rental car I ended up having to get for the day.
