08 g37S. Where can I find a single turbo kit? I'm not going to track it, I just want some more power. My goal is to have at least 400-450 hp as a daily driver. If there is a way to get these numbers without force induction please let me know.

 

There is no way to get that much power without forced induction. I have seen at least 2 different single turbo kits. One is a rear mount kit (made by STS). I can't recall the other, but it mounts beside the transmission.

Stillen makes a supercharger kit thats similar in price to single turbos if that interests you.

Talk to a local performance shop. The one I spoke to mentioned doing a custom one using a precision Turbo for $8,000 for kit and install.

 

That's the one I was trying to think of!

 

does this kit require a tune because I know tuning your car in California is illegal.

Yikes. 12K for the kit only. I guess if one considers that a decent new or used car starts around 40K, it doesn't seem as bad to drop another 15K (with install) on a kit like this one.
