No argument, I think castle was just pointing out the difference in my video from the wheel well and the OP's from the Cabin. I was just saying my video was from the wheel well because that's where I could hear it clearly; but it could be heard from the cabin like in the OP's video. I just figured my video help centralize the sound better than shot from the cabin where the noise could be from anywhere.
Did your's end up being the cat or heat shield?
Ah gotcha gotcha.. Yeah mine was a heat shield connected around the trans tunnel. I got an alignment last week and had the tech check and tighten everything. Unfortunately I don't know which shield was the problem but its gone now!

That's good to hear. Hopefully, I get the same news on the 13th. To clarify, my video was taken holding my phone close to the driver's side floor with the door open while I slowly accelerated up my driveway.
So I had my service done and the mechanic said they couldn't find anything wrong with my catalytic converter or heat shields. They did say that they think it may be my rear right exhaust rubbing on the evap canister.
Bringing this thread back from the dead. I have the exact same noise coming from my car intermittently upon acceleration but my car doesn't have any cats or a stock exhaust. Anyone have this same noise w/o cats and an aftermarket exhaust? My car is a 2009 G37S Sedan RWD Auto with Fast Intentions resonated test pipes and a Fast Intentions exhaust. Any ideas?

I've got almost the same setup as you and have had the noise even before I got that setup. I'm hoping it's a loose heat shield.
I also recently replaced my oil with ester oil since it's known to magically get rid of engine noise but that didn't help.
Have you had a chance to get under the car to inspect it? I may do that this weekend.
