I recently purchased a Stillen Gen 3 intake for my G37. Reviewing my purchase, I came to find inside the box was poor quality/and craftsmanship. this intake is Worth $500. I feel like I've been cheated out my hard earned money. have a look at the pictures provided. does anyone else have this type of poor craftsmanship on their intake?

Those are cosmetic and won't be visible once installed, nor will it effect functionality.

My Takeda didn't look like that.

 

Yea but for being the most expensive intake available that's rough looking. They have the intern make that one?

While it won't be visible, the air velocity will be affected. Will that be measurable? Probably not.

However I do agree, you did not buy an eBay or backyard made intake. Yours shouldn't look like this, especially the price they charge. Contact Stillen and please report back.

 

The 2nd gen Q60 guys are all complaining about Stillen's quality too. They had a major issue with clamps on their intake kit for the TT. I avoid them like the plague.
