Clunky Clutch Engagment

I just got a 2008 G37S with 134k miles and when I push the clutch in shifting from 1st to 2nd I feel some kind of clunk or rattle from underneath the car. Anyone else have this problem and could tell me what it is?

I have a 08G37S as well man! I have the same thing going on with me, it's not a rattle it's more like a clunk. I had the clutch changed out last year after the slave cylinder went out, I guess I've just gotten used to it!

If it sounds like marbles banging around in a can, that's normal

I took it to the shop this morning and put it on the lift and got up under and pretty sure it's the throw out bearing from the sound but pretty sure it's normal for these cars. Thanks for helping me make sure though.

If it's the throw out bearing the whirling noise will go away if you lightly push the clutch

Only from 1st to 2nd? Maybes its a bad diff bushing? or ujoint? Both of those though i would think would happen regardless of gear. If its just that shift maybe its trans linkage? Mines an 08 too and i dont have any noises except the normal pilot bearing whir in nuetral and clutch engaged.
