Hard start & lagging issues, anyone?

Hi guys 2011 G37 coupe with AWD. Past few weeks my cars been starting harder and harder. Over the past few days I noticed I'm getting high rpms when the car first starts. Also I noticed the cars a little bit noisier than usual. Aside from this I have a lot of lag when driving and feel like the transmission is not shifting as smoothly as it should be in an automatic. 90k miles and counting on the car, I'm thinking spark plugs?

I've never done anything other than oil changes. I have the Infiniti elite warranty still would any of this be covered?

Sorry to hear that your having issue with the vehicle. Make sure have a battery test and replace if necessary. When/Most does the lag occurs? Is it every time it shift gears Like 2nd 3rd 4ft etc. First check your ATF level. At full stop, on D mode noticed the RPM and you think its gonna stalled? There could be many reason on lag. Please explain what do you notice when driving.

Battery replaced at the dealer a few thousand miles ago, so it's not that. I'll have to check the ATF level tomorrow- assuming it's a dip stick or something easy. It's when shifting from 2-3-4. Car usually plays games with me and almost shuts off at a full stop when I'm D (been told it's MAF) but what I'm experiencing is something totally different. When driving I have been smelling a little burning smell as well. Can't imagine what's going on.

check to see if the MAF is dirty. Could be fuel injectors bit clog. Try fuel injector cleaner like Lucas, but make sure you put it when your gas is almost empty. Fuel pump could be the factor also. Assuming there is no engine lights.

I had the same problem, but with my 08 6mt. I cleaned my throttle bodies and shazamm it works fine.. Just something you might want to look into.
