Added a Z1 ported intake manifold to the car

Butt dyno feels like the car pulls more when you are on the on ramp merging with traffic......

i followed this:
click meeeeeeee
pretty straight forward.

added my purdy red brake booster hose and installed my strut bar during/afterwards...

i took off the intakes and it was much easier to get to the tb bolts..

this hose is pain if you do not install if from the engine compartment to the brake area.... you connect the hard tube to the new hose then clamp the factory hose in the brake area to the hard pipe..

Very nice. Did you purchase it and then return your stock one once you received it? Any plans on dynoing it?

I'm picking up the Z1 hoses soon for my car (all of them that they make). Initial impressions on the hoses? I haven't heard any negatives just always like to get as much feedback about a product before I purchase it.

there would no point to dyno the car if he doesn't have the stock manifold dyno to compare it to..

i went to the junk yard and got a stock manifold from a wrecked G for a core..... i still have my stock.


i want to get a tune and dyno yes, but i been spending to much on the car and that whole give gifts season is opon us..


soo... tune and dyno will have to wait..... DAMNIT.... being responsible and all....

did you feel how rough the porting was, looks rougher then stock. it it polished smooth?
are my eyes deceiving me?

I did. It is baby bottom smooth. It just looks rough.

Been driving the car for a bit now with this on. Seems like a little was lost on the low end around town, but it makes up for it once you put your foot down to change lanes..
